Hi! I'm Courtney and  I'm a mom to one sweet girl. This past spring I transitioned to being a stay-at-home mom after working at Xcel Energy for 10 years, and I couldn't be happier. My husband and I have lived in River Falls since 2020, and we spend a lot of our time volunteering with our church and enjoying nature. We try to make it to the mountains at least once a year-last year I even hiked in Glacier National Park while 7 months pregnant (that was tough!). We love backcountry adventures and are excited to share them with our daughter. We're also hoping to grow our family in the next few years.

Favorite mom hack: If your little one is having a rough day-just add water. Tub, sink, river, even a sip of water-it works wonders! (At least once they're past 6 months!)

Fun fact: I'm one of 8 kids and never thought l'd have children myself. Then, three years ago, after 10 years of marriage, my husband asked if we should consider it... and now we have our daughter, and I wouldn't change a thing!

What I love most about HAMG: The kindness and support! As a first-time mom, I was looking for friends for both myself and my daughter, and this group has been such a gift.

What I love most about HAMG: I love how inclusive this group is to ALL moms. We all have our own story and there's a place for all of us here at HAMG. Being a mom is the most rewarding gift in life but let's be real, it's HARD and we can't do it on our own. From Friday meetings (with childcare might l add ) to play dates, MNO's and book clubs...there's opportunities for us all to find enjoyment in motherhood all while making friends along the way.

What I love most about HAMG: the community- I found this group when my son was a newborn and it's been a lifeline. I didn't know anyone in Hudson and I've truly found some of my closest friends here.

Favorite mom hack: Having a simple bedtime routine and listening to an audio-book while I nurse my daughter down. Usually it's the book we are doing for monthly book club

Fun fact about yourself: One of my favorite hobbies is birding. I started getting into it 5 years ago and have identified 203 unique bird species to date.

What you love most about HAMG: Joining HAMG during my maternity leave was the biggest blessing! Making mom friends with other first time moms and seasoned moms is what I love most, as well as being a part of a playgroup where my daughter  has made baby friends her age. So fun to watch them grow together over this past year.

Hi! My name is Hallie, I live in Hudson with my husband, our daughter, and our little dog! I've lived in the St. Croix valley for a long time but this is our first year living in Hudson and we love it here! I was a stay at home mom for my daughter's first year and now I am working part time as a block printer for a small clothing company.

I love thrifting, going on walks, and trying new coffee shops!

Favorite mom hack: Having a dog to clean up the food that ends up everywhere!

Fun fact about yourself: I lived off the grid for six years, one in a tent in Hawaii, and five in a yurt in Washington state.
